Like anyone really cares, but when this post published at midnight, I will be packed in the mini-van with five other people somewhere between San Francisco and Las Vegas. Yes, the four generations of the "Chow" part of my Reyes-Chow-ness is converging on The Strip for a weekend of WILD PARTYING as we celebrate my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary. Yes . . . you read correctly, my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary. And one more time . . . my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. I figure if I keep saying it, it will seem more real. And while we are going to have a great time with the family as we always do, there is a little let down as we there was a small chance we would be going to China for the big event. But alas . . . we shall enjoy the 11 hour drive, watch the water show, place a small wager on my Oakland A's and celebrate a great 60 years with my uber-cool grandparents on this pretty amazing occasion ;-)
One positive totally dorky thing is that I'll have a whole new group of things to Yelp about, plus I am sure there will be a battle of the blogs between me and my cousin, Trina. Also, if there are any suggestions for child-friendly activities, do tell . . . Evelyn is not quite ready for no-limit Texas hold 'em ;-)
