1982 Honda CB650SC - BEFORE
While it took me longer than I thought it would after selling my last motorcycle, this evening I picked up my newest "baby" in Oakland, a 1982 Honda CB650SC. This is certainly a project bike, not pretty now, but runs strong with only 15,000 miles on her. She is in riding shape, but as you can tell needs some TLC to make her more of a head-turner. Riding really is a spiritual discipline that I have missed the past few months so I am TOTALLY read to get back on and ride. Woohoo!

Wow, this takes me back. I had a '77 CB550K, and regret every day that I got rid of it!
This one looks pretty good for a "project." A seat is no big deal if the engine's in good shape (And isn't there something "special" about Honda's classic four in four exhaust?
You're motivating me to start begging my brother again -- he's got a classic Honda Sabre (with the V45 engine instead of 700cc that I've been trying to get him to sell me for 10 years!)
Enjoy the road!

Rodger - Yeah, I can already feel the addictive pulse set in as i search for body work and other such things. The part "hunt" must fire up the inner cave man ;-)
