After the past year of studying our staffing needs and the moving forward of my change to part time, we are very excited to announce two new part-time positions here at Mission Bay Community Church: Church Administrator /Bookkeeper and Pastoral Assistant for Music. 

Info about each position is below.  We are hoping to fill these positions by the end of the Summer, so please pass thus info along to anyone that you think may be interested.  Please note the deadline for submissions is July 15th and we will only receive applications electronically. POSITION 1 – CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR/BOOKKEEPER

The Church Administrator/Bookkeeper at Mission Bay Community Church will be responsible for the administrative welfare of the church.  The job calls for about 15 hours a week at $1,000/month plus the opportunity to serve a community of faith that is striving to be faithful followers of Christ here in San Francisco.

POSITION 2  - PASTORAL ASSISTANT FOR MUSIC

The Pastoral Assistant for Music is basically in charge of organizing, supporting and nurturing the music ministry at Mission Bay Community Church.  The job calls for about 10 hours a week at $800/month plus the opportunity to serve a community of faith that is striving to be faithful followers of Christ here in San Francisco.

    • Please include a video (or audio) recording of you playing worship music or leading a band.  It is fine to send us a link to a performance or show on youtube or some other website. 
    • Let us know how you could train or incorporate youth group students into worship.
    • Describe the type of music leaders and musicians that you most admire and enjoy.  
    • Include any other Social Medium platforms where you can be reached: facebook, twitter, etc.
  • Before a decision is made to hire a new music leader, we will require an audition at our worship services.
