As many of you know, I have had the privilege of being in the Philippines twice in the past six months. Having just visited Tacloban and the surrounding areas hit by supertyphoon Haiyan for the second time, I have been able to see, both the great strides made, as well as the work still to be done.
I will blog on this trip more in the future, but here are a few before and after pictures that I took at Betheny Hospital — the before shots are from about a week after the storm hit in November of 2013 and the after ones from my most recent trip, roughly three months later.
