BRC and Friends is a 30-minute Google Hangout where I chat with friends and adventurers from around the interwebs. Each episode includes conversations about one of my guests passions, projects or area of expertise, a current events or two and we end with five random questions. This is basically an excuse for me to talk with interesting people about interesting things.

Dennis Yang on BRC and Friends with Bruce Reyes-ChowA San Francisco teacher his entire career, Dennis Yang is also a native San Franciscan.  He is a proud product of the San Francisco public school system, where he first attended Spring Valley Elementary School, then Marina Middle School, and finally Lowell High School.  He went to UC Berkeley and he earned his BA.  Dennis then went on to San Francisco State University and earned his MA.

Starting in 2000, the first three years of Dennis’ teaching career were spent at his alma mater, Lowell High School.  He then went on to teach at the Urban School of San Francisco, where he created and developed their Chinese language program.  Dennis is currently teaching at the Bay School of San Francisco.  Besides teaching, Dennis loves to sing and act, having performed locally in various San Francisco events all the way to shows in China and Taiwan.
