The Twenty-sixth Day of Lent

The Twenty-sixth Day of Lent

March 19, 2015

Cue: Friends and friends forever . . . *

Over the past few days while attending a couple of conference in Chicago, Next Church and Progressive Youth Ministry, I had dinner with a few friends whom I have not seen in a while.

It was nice to reconnect, share stories of the past, and find out what’s going on in folks lives. While I could have stayed cooped up in my hotel recharging by introvert batteries, I am glad that I took the time to simply share a meal with my friends.

Because of many things, geography, jobs, and life we may not see one another as much as we have in the past. Who knows when paths will cross again, so for now, I just give thanks for the time shared in the Windy City.

Now to get to bed for my 4:00am wake-up call. Egads.

See you tomorrow.
