The Eighteenth Day of Lent

March 10, 2015

Life’s hardest Monday has got to be the Monday after the clocks “spring forward” an hour.

With a 6:30am wake-up time these Mondays are BRUTAL. On a normal school day we get up around 6:30-6:40 and we’re out the door by 7:20-7:25. So when I looked at my clock and it read 7:15, bing, bam, boom, up and out of bed we leap, into bedrooms we burst, all living creatures are woken and the bathroom jockeying goes into full effect.

But with weary bodies, less un-primped hair, and who knows what in the lunch bags . . . we made it.

Team work, we don’t need it all that often is such short burst, but when we do, it’s good to know that we can conquer even the evils of the Monday after Spring forward.

See you tomorrow.
