Today my church, the Presbyterian Church (USA) crossed the threshold needed to approve a change in our constitution from between one man and one woman, to between two people thus embracing marriage equality.
Now I am not naive. Not all Presbyterians are happy about this and other will use it as a chance to further condemn what I believe is good Gospel work.
People will leave.
People have left.
People will come back.
New people will show up.
And now, two people in love, can get married.
Thanks be to God.
