The Romans and Matthew passages screamed to me communal responsibility and accountability, as well as communal rest and healing. We can both be terrible and healing as a body and body politic. With everything going on in the world today: police brutality, gun violence, SCOTUS, LGBTQIA+ hatred, and everything we do not see, we can both take our collecting responsibility AND our collective healing.
